If reality is just a collection of striking and immersive experiences, then how is it different from art? My works investigate metaphysical concepts of authenticity, matter and substance playing with material and digital duality as my main subject of research.
I challenge traditional notions of contrast and harmony by bringing together up-cycled elements, long-established art media and smooth digital textures. Inspired by film architecture and science-fiction, my works unfold speculative narratives which tackle contemporary issues of capitalism, climate crisis and the anthropocene.
I engage in a worlding process, ‘aesthetic activity of creating worlds’. My personal experiences of space merge with mental images, philosophical and political thoughts, spiritual intuitions, culminating in a diverse body of sculptural installations and audio-visual works.
